Employment Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in Venture Retreat!

Venture Retreat Center is in an exciting period of transition. Quantity and size of retreat bookings has increased substantially over the last year. Venture has constructed a new two-room cabin, which offers some private accommodations, remodeled the lodge kitchen, refinished the lodge floors and repainted the lodge rooms. The water supply system has been upgraded and the lodge deck rebuilt. We have been assisted by a number of great work-trade staff during this period, however, those folks are moving on and Venture is looking for new member for a core team to take the next big step in Venture’s renewal.

There is an opportunity for people who would like to be part of sharing in the next phase of Venture’s development as a center for conscious living and working. As a small nonprofit, we are not in the position to offer full time jobs, however, we can offer a wonderful place to live and work, particularly for individuals who enjoy rural living on the Central California coast; an opportunity for individuals to pursue their passion; and the possibility of building something that will have a material, positive impact on our world.

We are very interested in finding people who share our vision of working closely together in a conscious learning community dedicated to providing a comfortable, supportive environment for residential groups pursuing greater consciousness to increase personal awareness and benefit the larger world.
